Some call these "cruller" shaped earrings, but I think they're too elegant for that!  The faceted black Czech Glass bead is etched and highlighted with gold on the top and bottom that really catches the light as you wear it.  

I've paired it with a Czech Glass gold spacer bead, and surrounded all of it with 14k gold-filled beads.  Finished in 14k gold wire-wrapping (so it will never pull out), and hanging from a French Hook Earwire accented with one more gold bead just for good luck!
